Every six hours the Dst recovery starts from the Dst index, Kyoto if it is available. 11 Prediction of the Dst index 3-4 hours ahead. 12 The storm strength prediction (min Dst). The intermediate storm saturation point between the current state and saturation point on the storm saturation trajectory. 13 A lower limit of the storm strength prediction (min Dst). The storm saturation point. It is performed to predict the storm strength of the suddenly developing major storm (Dst<-100) if the sharp increase of the solar wind was detected. 14 The gap in solar wind data. "0" - no gaps. "1" - data gaps. The observations of the the previous hour are used instead of non-observed data. In this case the prediction degree of belief becomes lower. 15 The prediction degree of belief in case of data gaps in the Dst, Kyoto. "0" - either there is no data gaps in the Dst, Kyoto or substituted data are reliable inspite of the Dst gaps. "1" - data gaps in the Dst, Kyoto and substituted data are less reliable. The prediction degree of belief becomes lower. In case of data gaps in the Dst, Kyoto, another values are substituted for the missed Dst value according to the following rules: a) If the sharp increase of the solar wind was detected, then the recovered value of the Dst is substituted for the missed Dst value, Kyoto. The flag is equal to 0. b) If the sharp increase of the solar wind was not detected, then the previous available Dst value, Kyoto is substituted for the missed Dst value, Kyoto if the Dst value, Kyoto was not observed 1 hour. If the Dst value, Kyoto was not observed more than 1 hour, then the previous available Dst value, Kyoto is also substituted for the missed Dst value, Kyoto if the recovered value of the Dst > -50. If the recovered value of the Dst <= -50, then the recovered value of the Dst is substituted for the missed Dst value, Kyoto.
