Detailed survey of Mars


Main scientific objectives:

  • Detailed topographic survey, multiband imaging and photometric studies of the surface with 3D reconstruction of its relief.
  • Atmospheric studies cloud structures, limb brightness, terminator features.

    Instrument: Multifunctional high-resolution stereoscopic TV camera built around 9 CCD arrays.
