Over the past few years, Views of the Solar System has received a number of awards and recognition from different organizations. The following is a list of some of the these organizations:

Luckman Four-Star Winner

Congratulations! It's not every day that stars fall out of the sky. In fact, that kind of thing is bound to hurt someone. Nonetheless, we're dropping a few stars on your site for its excellence. Views of the Solar System was awarded the Geological Survey of Canada site of the week award starting March 12, 1997.

The Discovery Channel: Wonders of the Universe

This site explores the origins of Halley's Comet and features Comet Introducation from Views of the Solar System.


Views of the Solar System was reviewed as one of the top 5% of all Web sites.
