Boris Zoubkov (on the left) is holding subsurface sounding experiment using MARSES instrument
sounding instrument from IKI gained possibility to join expedition to Devon Island in Canada and test instrument to measure frozen subsurface slices. Representative of IKI team Boris Zoubkov has provided unique measures of subsurface polygonith structures at Haughton meteorite crater using MARSES sounding instrument which is planned to be employed in future Mars subsurface sounding missions. Participation of IKI in this experiment allows master subsurface sounding techniques in application to Martian surface and develop a next generation of subsurface sounding instruments. Participation of IKI Organisational and financial support of NASA Ames, Mars society, Natural Resources Canada
